Tiffany Atwell, Vice-President of Government Affairs at EcoLab. She served as the head of international government affairs for DuPont, which has been in existence since 1802 and has 52,000 employees globally. She has global responsibility for government engagement strategies to advance the goals of DuPont business (e.g. crop protection, seeds, industrial biosciences, nutrition, and health, etc.). She manages a global team in key markets of China, Brazil, India, the ASEAN region, Canada, and Europe to accomplish the business goals.

She is the former Senior Director for Strategic Programs and Government Affairs for Abbott. She managed a team whose goal was to develop public-private partnerships with key governments and to drive outreach strategies in emerging markets like Russia, India, China, and Brazil to advance business growth objectives. During her tenure at Abbott, Tiffany was the recipient of the President Award in 2010, 2011, and 2012. She also received the Commercial Excellence Award from the EPD business in 2011.

She started her career at Abbott as a Director of Global Government Affairs in November 2006 with responsibility for developing government outreach strategies for Russia, China, and India to promote market access for key products.

Atwell spent over a decade in the U.S. Government with a variety of international policy experience. Her final government post was as the International Trade Policy Advisor to Senator Charles Grassley, former Finance Committee Chairman. Atwell managed all trade-related issues regarding China. Earlier she served as a U.S. Department of Commerce Congressional Liaison for the International Trade Administration assisting members of Congress in the resolution of trade-related issues for their constituents.

Tiffany Atwell was selected as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of State in 1998, assignments included the U.S. Embassy in Kenya and a fellow on the House International Relations Committee. She was proud to receive the U.S. State Department Meritorious Honor Award during her tenure.

Tiffany has a BA in Political Science from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State and a University and a Masters in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University. She enjoys mentoring young professionals and volunteers in Washington, DC with her family.
